Punjabi Chhole

If the bhuna masala is already stored in the refrigerator this is again a quick recipe for working woman.

Ingrediants:-

Kabuli chana :- 75 gms
Bhuna Masala:- 4 tablespoon
Onions:- 2  thinly sliced
Ginger :- 25 gms thinly sliced
Chana Masala :- 2 tablespoon
Coriander Powder :-  3 tablespoon
Oil :- 3 Tablespoon
Tamrind Pulp :- 4 tablespoon
Salt:- To taste
Water:- enough to soak channa during pressure cooking.

Method:-
Soak Kabuli Chana for 8 hrs and after that pressure cook it for 10 mins (water should be able to soak the channas).
In another separate  pan ,heat the oil and add coriander powder till it turns dark (blackish brown).Add thinly sliced onions to it and saute for 2-3 miutes.Add channa masala,bhuna masala,salt and tamrind pulp.

Now put the above prepared masala in the pressure cooker, mix well and again pressure cookfor 5 mins such that cholas are well cooked.

Garnish with sliced onions and ginger.

Goes best with rice,naan or puri.
